A Pocketful of fun - A 3-D Tutorial
This is the Design Team Day Blog Post I did for Meljens Designs:
I love this sweet lil pocketful of fluff, Little Pocket Puppy, one of Melissa's newer digital images.
One of the things I really enjoy doing with digital images is making them 3 dimensional so they really 'POP'. I don't mind fussy cutting and often find myself following the motto..."When in doubt, Cut it Out". For this particular image I printed off 3 identical sized images and then colored the pieces I needed and cut them out.

I use mounting tape to add dimension, dimensional glue spots are also available.
I find the tape less expensive and easier to find.
Cut and place the mounting tape pieces where needed.
Place the pieces in order on base from lowest to highest layer.
All Done
Hope you enjoyed this little guy as much as I did.
Thanks for stopping by and wishing you a
'pocketful' of fun and surprises today and everyday.

MEl Jen's 200th Challenge Celebration. CELEBRATE Each and Every Day
Welcome to this stop on the MelJens 200th Challenge 'Celebration' Blog Hop. You should have come here from Rae Ann's Blog. My offering for this event expresses the thought that each day is cause to Celebrate the beauty and goodness that is around us if we choose to look.
I made a double easel card featuring Little Puddle Duck which is the digital stamp I will be giving away to one lucky randomly selected visitor. Make sure you leave a comment with your email address to this post.
I also used Sunny Day Flower for the Sun, Tulip Buggies for the Tulips, Sweet Little Rainbow for the clouds and Garden Flower Frame for the sentiments.
All of the images were fussy cut and colored with Copic Markers. I found a simple double easel card tutorial but adjusted the size making it smaller to fit my needs.
From here you need to 'Hop' on over to Sue's Blog and see what she has for you.
Thank You for stopping by and celebrating with us. Remember to leave a comment and your email here to enter the random drawing for Little Puddle Duck or any of the other digital images I used in this project.. You may also join our Challenge this week using a MelJens Digital Image and the theme Celebration for the chance to be one of three randomly selected entrants to win 2 digital images of their choice from Melissa's Store. For more info or to find the stops you might have missed you can find that here at the Design Team and Challenge Blog.
Hope your Day is just Ducky and filled with lots of little everyday joys and smiles for you to Celebrate!
